The crown jewel of the island’s open spaces, Cityside Park stretches over three-quarters of a mile along San Francisco Bay and the Treasure Island promenade, capturing sweeping city skyline views. From sunrise to sunset, this will be the outdoor hub of the island on weekends.

A unique sheltered bay lined with sandy shores, an inviting beach and calm waters – it’s the perfect spot for swimming, sailing, stand up paddle, quiet walks or a weekend picnic with friends.

One of the best walks in a city that is a walkers’ paradise. Buckeye Grove features an organic serpentine trail that winds back and forth through the Buckeye trees with some truly incredible views of downtown and the Bay.

A dedicated off-leash dog run and play area. The park features a wild, natural design that is surrounded by live Oak trees as well as Yerba Buena Island-native species.

This three-acre park atop Yerba Buena Island features 360° views of the bay and is home to Hiroshi Sugimoto’s renown Point of Infinity sculpture.

This immense garden is planted with over 50 locally native species, which support the island’s bird and insect populations. You can explore it through a series of walking path and seating areas.

An island gathering point, this waterside lookout features a 30-foot communal table, amphitheater seating, bike racks and flexible performance space for community events.

Just a few blocks away is one of the most popular clubs for Padel and Pickle. Day and night, pick up games or lessons, beginner to advanced... this is one of the hottest new sports destinations in the Bay Area.

This future park will be devoted to the production of food and local nursery with opportunities to provide an educational outreach program.

Coming soon, this neighborhood park is designed to be a center point for sports and recreation on the island, to promote youth sports as well offering plenty of outdoor activities.

The future Eastern Shoreline Park will be a unique waterfront setting, perfect for a scenic picnic, weekend gathering or morning stroll to take in the stunning East Bay views.

This future area is planned as a space to restore the native landscape with hiking paths, habitat viewing areas and an ecological education system. When complete, this will all be supported with seasonal wetlands and sustainable storm water systems to complement the island’s ecosystem.

The island has an ever-growing list of destinations that will include a collection of restaurants, cafes and shopping. The current spots include places for a morning coffee, some quick groceries, a delightful dinner or a beautiful sunset happy hour.

A fenced and off-leash dog park located at Avenue of Palms and 9th Street on Treasure Island offers a community vibe in natural setting with views of the Bay.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed and Bay FC have announced plans for the location of Bay FC’s new permanent training facility – right here on Treasure Island!

A stunning overlook adjacent to Panorama Park that features two acres of open space surrounded by native plantings and oak trees with endless Bay views.

When complete, the island will offer miles and miles of paths and trails for walking, running and cycling. They will give residents a chance to escape and venture, while connecting the community.

The island has no bad views. You can pick a direction and walk, wander or ride to find a new spot and take them in. Some are well known, some are local secrets – yours to find.

Sunrise to sunset, Vista Point has some of the best views on the island. It also offers easy access to the Bay with great conditions for windsurfing and kite surfing.
